Just a quick post because I am super tired.... I'm not used to this whole 'schedule' thing which requires me to get up at a certain time and then get myself and an infant out the door, to day care, and then to work.

We decided to dabble with rice cereal this week. Weston seems to like it. He understands that he needs to open his mouth when the spoon is there. He doesn't understand that when I take the spoon out of his mouth, it will come back again and there will be more food. He cries between spoonfuls as though we've forgotten that he's hungry. It's a little messy and a little time consuming, but it sure is fun! Weston is getting much better at grabbing things and is starting to take an interest in rattles and the like. I took a really cute video of him yesterday but I can't figure out how to post it!


Tonight we are heading out to celebrate Jaci and her growing baby belly at a Jack and Jill shower. This means Tom gets to go too! And I have another shower to attend in Golden Valley tomorrow afternoon. It's a weekend of baby showers and, perhaps, a little rest on Sunday. It's been a long week...

P.S. I can't find my my phone and it was on silent the last time I used it so it could be awhile until I find it. I'm hoping I left it at work and i'll only be without it for the weekend. In the event that you need to reach me, please try Tom's number first!
