Decking the Halls

We've had Christmas decorations out for awhile but the recent snowfall has finally put me in the Christmas mood!

 The presents have been wrapped and out for over a week and have suffered no casualties (yet).  Weston likes to look at them and he did try to open one when I turned my back on the first day they were out but he has learned to stay away.

 Weston can tell you almost all the people in the nativity scene!  He keeps bringing me baby Jesus and saying, "Look at the baby Jesus.  Awwww. He so little." This is quite adorable. 

Only 16 more days! 

Weston calls the stockings "big socks."

We recently went to our city's seasonal celebration at the community center.  They have a lot of fun crafts for kids, a piano recital for local piano students, Santa, cookies, and a REINDEER!  I thought the reindeer was cool but Weston was indifferent. 

They had a cookie decorating station. He is concentrating really hard on decorating his cookie.

He was not excited about Santa, but he was definitely curious. He climbed right up onto Santa's lap without any fear but he refused to smile.

This one makes me laugh.  They have the same facial expression.
