I caught Weston red (white?) handed, eating Cool Whip straight from the tub.
Daddy may have played a role in the Cool Whip consumption. Tom swears it was Weston's idea :)
This is Weston checking out the snow that we FINALLY received on New Year's Eve. Not that I'm complaining about how long it took! I was perfectly content with the green/brown Christmas that we experienced this year.We rang in the new year with a group of our close friends. We had a good time and Weston even managed to stay awake until midnight, though he did crash and burn at about 12:05. It's time to reflect on resolutions again! Last year, I resolved to lose the rest of my baby weight and read the entire bible. I even got myself set up with one of those bibles that is broken down into readings for each day of the year. So did I keep my resolutions? I kept the bible reading going strong until February but then I got caught up in reading for book club, sorting the mail, reading the newspaper, blogging, etc... and the bible resolution fell quickly to the wayside. I'll have to take a stab at it a different year. As for the baby weight, I am only 2 pounds away from my pre pregnancy weight which means I lost roughly 15 pounds in the last year. It was slow going but I did make an effort and I am proud to be wearing my old pants again.
My goal for this year will be challenging but I think it is attainable. Instead of trying to do something, I am going to try to not do something. My resolution for 2012 is to go an entire year without adding to my wardrobe. No more shirts, jeans, scarves, pants, heels, socks.... nada. For an entire year. Tom thinks I'm crazy (so does the Wells Fargo teller who asked me if I had a resolution for this year) but I think I need this challenge in my life!
Other than while I was pregnant and the year following Weston's birth, I've been the same size for a long time so a lot of my clothes from college (and some from high school) still fit me. That means the contents of my closet have been expanding for nearly a decade! It's no wonder why my closet is bursting at the seams! The inspiration for my resolution came in the form of piles, and piles, and piles of laundry that were spilling out from my closet and taking over my bedroom floor. It was a nightmare. I figured if I had enough laundry to fill my bedroom floor, I surely had enough clothing to get through the year. So there you have it! I'm a little afraid of this resolution but I'm excited too. Happy New Year!
How long has Tom been a 90210 fan?

Ha ha. That was a free shirt we got at the state fair 3 or 4 years ago when they were trying to promote the new 90210 series. We have two of them and he wears them around the house all the time!
ReplyDeleteI love that Tom is wearing a 90210 shirt!
