January 2014

Well, I'm only a year behind on blogging now!  I plan to catch up mostly by posting photos.  I love to look back through my blog posts and see my favorite pictures of our family in one place and I really want to keep up with blogging.  When I blog actively, it helps remind me to take pictures of the boys and to enjoy the moments that we are experiencing.  Can you guess what part of my 2015 New Year's resolutions is? Here are some of my favorite picks from January 2014.
Cal started breaking out with Eczema rashes pretty early on in life.  From three months on, it has been a little battle to keep it under control.  Even with his red cheeks, he was an adorable baby.

Don't all three-year-olds wear crowns to dinner?
This is another one of my favorite pictures.  I can close my eyes and remember snuggling with Weston this day. He came over and asked if he could snuggle.  I couldn't have been more delighted to snuggle as my wriggly boy rarely wants to sit still with me.
All cuddled up in his winter bunting.
 Deep in prayer?

January was also the month of Calvin's baptism.  We chose my brother and my sister to be Godparents and Ashley who was Eric's fiance at that time, to be a Christian witness.  Calvin looked sweet and pure in his white gown.  This is the same gown that Thomas and Weston wore for their baptisms.

Making it official!  Welcome to The Church, Calvin Archie!
 A shot with the Godparents
 Grandma and Grandpa Honetschlager
Grams (Grandpa was working in Michigan at this time)
 Proud parents
CRAZY hair!  His hair had little curls at this point but it was kind of out of control.  I took these pictures right before his first significant hair cut at just under 4 months old.  Of course, I saved his curls.  If we have a daughter, I hope she gets the same great hair that the boys have had!

AWW! I love this.  The best thing about having a second child is watching the two children interact.  Siblings are such a gift and I am glad these two have each other.
