Uncle Eric recently left us to go start a new adventure in Texas. We wanted to spend one last night with him before he left, so we took him out to eat at Buca last Friday. It was nice to chat with him before he left. We think he is so brave to venture out to a new part of the country all by himself. We know he will make new friends easily but we will miss him here in Minnesota!
Weston loved the long fettucine noodles.
Nom, Nom, Nom. Noodles are yummy!
Buca is a great place to eat out if you are taking small children with you. It's crowded, loud, and chaotic. Screaming, whining children who want to throw bread fit in really well. Weston managed to break the plastic table advertisement and he also threw numerous chunks of bread into the aisle. At one point he pulled the table cloth over his head. Oiy. At any other restaurant, I would have freaked out but at Buca, the waiters just pretended not to notice and didn't seem bothered at all. It was so loud in there that I wasn't concerned about Weston's screaming disturbing the families around us. It was really nice.
This was an accident but it's kind of neat. I have dubbed this photo "Liveliness at Buca in the p.m."
Weston and Uncle Eric.
Good-bye for now, Uncle Eric. Good luck in Texas!
