9 Months

Always with one sock...

Hat hair

Eating Mommy's weights

Getting into cabinets all by himself

Westonator is 9 months old now. It's a little crazy, isn't it? We took him for his check up yesterday and got his new stats. He seems to be growing consistently and remaining around the same percentiles he was born into. Here are the latest stats:
Head: 43.3 cm= 6th percentile
Weight:17 lbs 15.5 oz. (Let's just round up to 18 pounds)=15th percentile
Height: 27 and 3/4 inches=40th percentile
He took a little jump in the height department. I guess we have a tall, skinny baby with a small head :) I think we are at a point where we have some nick names that have stuck and will probably continue to hang around for awhile. We often find ourselves referring to Weston as Muffin, Muffy, little muffin, big muffin... and lots of other varieties of muffin. I'm not really sure how this nickname evolved, but for some reason it has stuck! We also like to call him Westonator (and sometimes muffinator... I know... you're all wanting to gag at this point....) and Tom also calls him Bubbers sometimes. He's in size three diapers and he's wearing mostly 9 month clothes, but he still wears some 6 month shirts and even a few 12 month items.
He has mastered another new trick this week-the stairs! Well, it's more like the stair as he only goes up one.

Tom has just one more trip to go on before he can it say good bye to this years' travel season. One more... one more.... almost there!
I have one more speech tournament to judge before I can have my weekends back.
One more... one more... almost there!
Tom has about 6 weeks to go before he is DONE with his MBA. SO CLOSE!!!
Tom has decided that he will celebrate by consuming one beer for every class he has taken to earn his degree. I thought it sounded like an OK idea until he told me it was 13 classes... So, I think i will use my wifely powers to ix-nay that idea. I can do that, right?
We had our taxes done last week. We used a guy that was recommended to us by one of my former co workers and he was great. He was about half the price of H&R Block, too. If you want a referral for next year, let me know! Our tax return was really disappointing. I grossly overestimated how much we were going to get back and we even ended up paying into the state. Maybe Uncle Sam will let us keep more of our money next year.

Since we had at least something of a refund, we decided to spring for an electrician to fix the lights upstairs that have been out of order since we moved in a YEAR AND A HALF AGO (I know... it's a little ridiculous.....). I am happy to report that you will no longer have to pee by lamplight if you come to visit us!
