The rest of September was spent adjusting to life as a family of four, recovering from pregnancy and delivery, and getting to know our new addition. From the beginning, Calvin was a very fussy baby and had a difficult time sleeping. He would only sleep if I was holding him! I learned all sorts of creative ways to position myself so I could get some shut eye while still holding him in my arms. Weston had a difficult time adjusting to having a baby brother. Those first few weeks were definitely trying but they were also sacred. Having a newborn in the house is a very special thing :)
