We're still waiting for the spring sunshine to make its appearance. I hear that we are supposed to have rain for 5 more straight days but that may be followed by a nice weekend. I want some sunshine! We've been working on little projects inside the house like updating Weston's play area and finishing a closet in the downstairs office. I'll post pictures when we're done. Tom has decided that there are five stages to every home project and they go something like this:
1. Let's do this!
2. Gosh, this is harder (and more expensive, and more time consuming) than I thought it would be.
3. I'm not really very good at this....
4. This doesn't really look like what I pictured in my head.
5. All I can think about is not doing this project anymore.
So.... yeah. The projects have been fun (or something like that) :) We really need to get outside.
My cutie patootie in "the big bed" last week. His hair is starting to get shaggy. This means it might be time to hold him down and cut his hair. Oh, how I dread cutting his hair! He dislikes it so much!23 weeks from the front. I feel like I'm carrying a bowling ball around all day-a very heavy, very large bowling ball.
Dorothy Girls who could make it to see Karen get married! Congrats to Karen and John!
Westonator snuggled up on the couch on a rainy day watching some YouTube.
At the Memorial Day parade. He liked it so much that he sobbed when it was over.
My boys waiting for the parade to start.
24 weeks. I'm outgrowing that maternity shirt. It's a size small (which I am clearly not anymore). It's time to hunker down and let the exponential growth take over. The heartburn has also kicked in over the last few weeks so I'm on a regular Tums regimen now. I'll be asking my Dr. for a prescription at my next visit. I hope I can get the same miracle drug I was prescribed for heart burn during my last pregnancy. Weston thinks the Tums are really big Smarties candies. I've caught him trying to sneak some several times. He keeps saying "My tummy is full of Tums like Mommy's tummy!" Not quite, kid. Mommy's tummy is full of BABY! Baby is supposedly a whopping 1.5 pounds now and he can hear, too! He's been moving a lot lately which is very reassuring, though it is starting to keep me awake at night which is not so great. Tom and I cannot settle on a middle name. We've got lots of ideas, but nothing has clicked yet. We've got approximately 109 days to figure it out (not that I'm counting or anything....).
