2nd Annual Cookie Day

Weston samples a cut out sugar cookie star.

The goods!

The crowd was a little thin at the 2nd annual cookie party, but we had a good time and made some delicious Christmas cookies. We made Oreo truffles, chocolate covered pretzels, cut-out sugar cookies, chow-mein cookies, and almond bark covered Ritz peanut butter cookies. YUM!You may have noticed that there are no Oreo truffles in the sample platter pictured above. I put two on the plate for the picture, but then I had to wait for Tom to be done using the Ipod so I could take the photo. I ate the truffles while I was waiting. They are just SO DARN delectable. If you've never had one, you have been missing out! Thank you, Sarah and Taryn, for coming out and baking with me. I had a great afternoon with the two of you. I hope you both had a good day too and I hope you are enjoying your treats!

If you couldn't make it this year, don't worry. I'll be hosting again next year!
