It's official. Weston is now a toddler (at least according to MN daycare statutes!). We had a birthday party for him this Saturday to celebrate the occasion. We kept it small, inviting only our family members and we kept the menu simple by serving pizza and cupcakes. I had a great time and I think Weston did too.
"Let me at 'em! I just need to do a quality check!"
Uncle Eric stole the show by showing up fashionably late with a GIANT monkey. Weston promptly buried his face in the monkey and cuddled up to it like they were the best of friends.
"My friend!"
Drum mallets. This kid will bang on anything within reach.
"Yummy!"
After a quick change out of his party clothes (those cupcakes were messy!), it was time for the birthday boy to take a nap and time for the guests to head home. What a great day!
